Ban live sale - report List

A tank containing lobsters with their claws taped was observed in a food hall in Peterborough. The tank also housed other crustaceans and the water appeared unclean. One large lobster was positioned on their back, alive and moving their mouthparts, but unable to right themselves. Several others lobsters were present in the tank.

This tank of live lobsters was found in a local shop in Wales. The lobsters were alive and in clean looking water, but were cramped and pile on top of each other with vey little room to move.
